Sakura in Tsuruga Castle, Aizuwakamatsu City Fukushima
Tsuruga Castle, which was said to be an impregnable famous castle, did not fall for a month before the onslaught of the new government army in the campaign of Boshin. It was in the 7th year of the Meiji era that it was demolished leaving only Ishigaki. In the first year of Shitoku (1384), Naomori Ashina built the building for the first time, and after renovation, it became a famous castle in the world.
