1. Definitions
In the Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means, as stipulated in paragraph (1) of Article 2 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “Act”), information relating to a living individual, [1] containing a name, date of birth or other descriptions etc. whereby specific individual can be identified (including information that can be readily collated with other information and thereby identify a specific individual) stipulated in item (1) of paragraph (1) of Article 2 of the Act contained in such information, or [2] those containing an individual identification code in item (2) of paragraph (1) of Article 2 of the Act
2. Collected Information and Scope of Use

- User’s e-mail address, name, date of birth, address (country and prefectures), [optional] URL links for the accounts of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and other websites related to the User
- Materials submitted by User, the sources of the Materials (meaning titles of the Materials and names of the authors) and the comments related the Materials
- Condition or event
- When the User creates the Member account for Photo posting function on the Service
- When the User submits Materials after the registration as a User
- Purpose
- To enable Users to apply for the photography contest (the “AWARD”) on the Service
- To organize the AWARD and to announce the result of the contest
- To publish Materials etc. submitted by the User on the Service and enable other Users to use the Materials on the Service
- To display on the User’s profie page on the Service the URL links for the accounts of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and other websites related to the User

- User’s internet domain name, IP address, search queries within the Service and other information related to User’s use of the Service.

- To improve FIND/47 by analyzing the User’s use optimization
- To detect and deter unauthorized or fraudulent use of or abuse of the Service

- To improve the User experience, including remembering information about the User’s browser and preferences
- To help OFFICE maintain the User’s session when the User uses the Service
- To help OFFICE understand how Users use the Service and improve the Service
2.2.OFFICE collects anonymous traffic data that measures the frequency of use of the Service, for the purpose of making improvements to the Service. This process is aggregated and cannot be used to identify a particular User.
2.3.OFFICE shall make an individual or a business operator, entrusted by OFFICE to handle the Personal Information retained from Users based on the Privacy Policy, take necessary measures for the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage and for the proper management of the Personal information retained from Users.
3. Provision to Third Parties
3.1.Except in the following instances set forth below, OFFICE will not provide Personal Information to third parties:
- (1)Cases where the prior consent of the User have been obtained;
- (2) Cases where the provision of Personal Information is based on laws and regulations;
- (3)Cases where there is a need to protect a human life, body or fortune, and when it is difficult to obtain a principal(User)'s consent;
- (4)Cases where there is a special need to enhance public hygiene or promote fostering healthy children, and when it is difficult to obtain a principal(User)'s consent; or
- (5)Cases where there is a need to cooperate in regard to a central government organization or a local government, or a person entrusted by them performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and when there is a possibility that obtaining a principal(User)'s consent would interfere with the performance of the said affairs.
3.2.OFFICE may provide Personal Information to third parties without the prior consent of the User in the cases stipulated to paragraph (5) of Article 23 of the Act including the cases in the following items:
- (1)Cases where OFFICE entrusts services concerning FIND/47 to third parties; or
- (2)Cases of the succession of business related to FIND/47 to third parties as a result of transfers of business or the like.
4. Joint Use
OFFICE may jointly use User Information for the purpose of the Service to promote tourism to Japan by publishing selected photos featuring various areas in Japan (cf. Article 1 of FIND/47 Terms of Service) as follows:

- Items of User Information to be Jointly Used
- Materials submitted by User, the sources of the Materials (meaning titles of the Materials and names of the authors) and the comments related the Materials
(2)
- Party to Jointly Use User Information
- Companies or other legal entities which manage display instruments such as displays and signages installed at major train stations or commercial facilities annexec to the stations
(3)
- Purposes of Joint Use
- Displaying Materials submitted on the Service onto the display instruments above

- Name of Party Responsible for Management of User Information

5. Changes to the Privacy Policy
OFFICE may modify the Privacy Policy from time to time and for various reasons without obtaining the consent of the Users. When OFFICE makes any such changes to the Privacy Policy, OFFICE shall inform the modification and the effective time and content of the modified Privacy Policy by posting in the Service or other appropriate way specified by OFFICE, or notify the User of the same; provided, however, that OFFICE shall obtain the User's consent in a manner specified by OFFICE for the modification of Privacy Policy that requires such consent under the applicable laws.

For any inquiries about the Privacy Policy, Users can make inquiries via OFFICE
