Azuma mountains from Mogami-river Yamagata

  • 272
  • 3457
The headwaters of the Mogami River, the longest river in Japan running through the same prefecture, are located in the Azuma Mountain Range at the southern end of Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. The cherry blossoms on the riverbank in Yonezawa City, 30km from the headwaters, were also in full bloom, and I took this photo thinking about the snow at the headwaters.
