Sawasakihama Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Sado that exceeds 24.2m. And it protects the sea at the southwestern tip of the island. The lighthouse that shines in the sunset was beautiful. The poet Akiko Yosano write her tanka about this lighthouse.
