Corridor leading to the Land of Green Fairies Hokkaido
This moss spot is located in the southeast of Lake Shikotsu.
The moss seems to have grown wild on the pathway that was eroded over a long period of time after lava from the eruption of Mount Tarumae solidified.
For a distance of about 200 meters, moss-covered rocks and walls continue on both sides, forming a "corridor" that seems to literally lead to a fairyland of green.
Trees falling all over the place made the scenery even more mysterious, and I felt as if I had wandered into the world of Ghibli.
