Chikuzen Oshima, the beatiful sea and the Yumenosayoshima Fukuoka

Oshima is registered as a World Heritage Site as "Sacred Island of Okinoshima and Associated Sites in the Munakata Region".

When many of the inhabitants are fishermen and asked the people of the island, who are said to be descendants of the ancient sea people, about the charm of Oshima, most of them answered "sea".

Yumenosayoshima is a small island on the coast about a 10-minute walk from the port of Oshima, and it is continuous at low tide.

Perhaps the beauty of the sea and the island remains the same as it used to be, in the Muromachi period, it was sung in "Tsukushi Doki" by Iio　Sogi , a renga singer alongside the haiku Matsuo Basho, currently, various scenes of Yumenosayoshima are reported on Instagram and so on.
